[QUOTE=andics;30847396]Did you have any issues with mounting the G9 57 via the vesa plate on the rig? I have the 49 version and waiting for delivery of the 57 next week and I was wondering if it will keep up the additional weight / balance
it will hold but I prefer to have the 57” on a standalone stand vs the integrated. When I was using the integrated stand, the monitor was shaking when force feedback kicks in. I feel like its going to fall..

My simple, cost-effective setup:
GT Omega ART rig NRG Prisma seat Fanatec CSL DD Pro wheel Fanatec Clubsport V3 pedals w/ brake kit HP Reverb G2 V2 I drive exclusively in VR on iRacing and AC. I recently added a SimXperience G-belt active belt tensioner. It’s by far the single most expensive piece of equipment I have but the increase in immersion has been incredible. Just being strapped in makes me feel like I’m in a race car. Then when the shoulder harnesses compress on braking, cornering and even over crests it starts to feel almost believable. Combined with other haptics (bass transducers under the seat and pedals, multiple exciters in the seats) it does a pretty good job at making the cars feel alive. I don’t ever plan to add motion so this is as far as I’ll go. It’s great value for money. I’ve been to World of Racing in SoCal a few times (highly recommend checking them out). Their $25k 4-DOF motion rigs with triple screens, top of the line Simucube wheelbases and Heusinkveld pedals are awesome, but honestly I find my setup somehow more immersive. |

Finally the monitor mount and seat arrived in Hawaii. Only took almost a month to get here. My son ended up putting everything together himself cause he couldn’t wait to race.

Here's my setup, it's a tight fit, but I think it adds to the experience
Currently I'm still on the thrustmasterwheel t300 with loadcell pedals from fanatc with loadcell pedals, brake upgrade kit and hydraulic pump. I'm not entirely happy with the brake set up yet, it 's a bit too heavy for me, so may have to change to softer rubbers. I Want to replace the wheel with one of the new fanatec DD's. Butt i'm waiting until Fanatec Europe's supply problems are fixed In the meanwhile I'm working on a 6x50W bass shaker setup, ordered pieces from all over the world for it. So I hope it will work out, without too many fireworks and unexpected problems After that maybe a shifter handbrake and a button box, and maybe some racing inspired wall decoration,... And a new roll of darker car wrap to redo the improvised sunblocker. Since I don't want to drill holes in the wall so i can hang curtains, after spending 3weeks filling the holes and repainting all the rooms in the appartment

I removed the driver's seat from my F30 to make space for a sport seat, using the factory power sliders on the sport seat. I'd like to use the BMW seat on my sim rig, but I'm a bit baffled on which sliders or mounts I should be searching for to bridge the gap between the rig and the remaining hardware on the bottom of the seat. I used the Brey Krause R9286 kit to reuse the power sliders. Is there an easy/cheap option for manual sliders that will fit cleanly onto the factory seat?
It looks like BMW #52107243523 is the PN for the lower seat assembly but it seems to include the entire lower half of the seat, not just the sliders, and I don't see ebay results for under $400. |

How do you like the GT Omega ART rig with your setup? Any issues with flex or stability? I've been thinking of getting a GT Omega rig, just can't decide if I should get the ART or the Titan with a DD wheel.

The ART definitely flexes with my 8nm DD wheel. I installed the accessory cockpit support bar which helped quite a bit but it’s still there. The pedal plate also has some flex and wouldn’t be able to handle anything stiffer than v3 pedals. Switching from the RS6 adjustable seat to an NRG fixed bucket noticeably reduced back movement underwent braking. I’d go at least Titan or, even better, an aluminum profile rig to maximize upgrade options down the road.

My simple setup. I share this area of the house with my kids, so I have to keep the rig mobile and push it aside when not in use. Nowhere near as clean or eye pleasing as others here, but it does the job for me I plan to get the belt tensioner setup later this month.
